![]() I chose to monitor LOGICAL disks, chose "Disk Bytes/Sec" and I set the threshold to "1" so it would effectively be either on or off like an HDD LED. It's not very descriptive, but it's better than having an identical HDD icon for each drive using the "Show Hard Drive Activity" method. Finally, each icon will have its own designation - e.g., P1, P2, P3, etc. Secondly, you are free to drag the icons around and they will stay where you put them. ![]() First, and most obvious, you can choose to display the activity of only the drives YOU want to monitor. There are several advantages to this method of displaying hard drive activity. In case anyone was wondering about it, the workaround is to add a custom performance counter for each hard drive you would like to monitor and uncheck "Show Hard Drive Activity".
